Shirley Woolard
Watercolor Artist
I worked in the graphic arts field for over 50 years. Throughout my career, I took drawing classes at IUPUI, dabbled in stained glass, worked in oil painting and then I found watercolors at the Indianapolis Art Center. I love watercolors because of the challenge every time you paint. The watercolors take on a life of their own. The watercolors move and blend together in their own way.
I am a Cardinal Fellow Member of Watercolor Society of Indiana, a Signature Member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society. I am a member of Hoosier Salon, Indiana Artists Club, Indiana Heritage Arts and Southside Art League.
Currently I am a member of the Gallery on the Square where I show my work and teach watercolor.
